In the middle of May, the biggest stars in world squash descended on sunny Humberside to compete for one of the most coveted prizes in squash.
Often referred to as the "Wimbledon of Squash", the British Open has been a key date in the diary of every aspiring squash player since its inception in 1930.
It is the oldest and most established tournament in world squash, and was, for forty years, the de fact world championship; only surpassed when the World Championship started in 1970.
For the last three years, MANTIS has been the official racket sponsor of the competition.
This year was particularly special, as MANTIS player Emma Beddoes was competing in the main womens draw.
After a convincing win over former child prodigy Nour El Sherbini in the first round, Emma went out in a hard fought game against Low Wee Wern.
